Converting percentage grades to numerical scores on Blackboard

If your institution’s Blackboard setup allows, you can choose how grades are displayed in the gradebook. By default, grades are shown as percentages, but you may wish to see the numerical scores instead.

Note: If your scores look incorrect in the gradebook, see Exporting grades from Crowdmark to Blackboard’s gradebook. You may need to change the max. points of the questions (which are set to 10 by default) and export again.

Displaying numerical scores

  1. Locate the assessment you wish to change.

  2. Beside the assessment’s title, click the down arrow to reveal a popup menu.

  3. Click Edit. You’ll be brought to the Configure Tool page.

  4. Scroll down to the Services section and choose Score from the Display format for column dropdown.

  5. Click Submit to save your changes.

  6. Export scores from Crowdmark to Blackboard again.
