Hi, and welcome to this tour of Crowdmark’s updated grading interface. If this beta program has been enabled for your course, it will have been done by an instructor and you’ll see it when you click in to grade any question. Let’s click into question one.
The first thing you’ll notice is that the grading canvas has been expanded. This is to give you more room to work and to make room for exciting upcoming features. Your comment toolbar now lives at the bottom of your screen. You’ll see all the same tools are available to you.
The comment tool now is indicated by a pin on the page. You can click on the pin to hide or show the comment as you work. Your comment library now lives in the right hand sidebar with expanded room for comments as well as a sorting feature.
On the right hand, you’ll also see you’re able to add scores manually. Your navigation lives here. You can select questions or booklets, or use the arrows. Next ungraded now lives at the top of the page. You’ll also have a keyboard shortcut available to you for that which you can access using your keyboard. If you need a menu, you have that available to you in the bottom. This drop-down menu also gives you access to your entire assessment as well as your account and some help documentation if you have questions.
Continuing on with your right-hand sidebar, evaluations and who did them will now be indicated by avatars, with a star indicating a primary evaluation. You can make changes and view more details by clicking in. And you can also manage tags by clicking in here. Tags will now show up to give you the option to simply apply them. Or you can create a new tag by using the plus sign. The overview grid has been expanded to provide a cleaner and more organized view.
Your comment library has also been expanded including a search feature and sorting. More upcoming features are scheduled for that as well. Your filters are all the same. These had already been updated, so you’ve been using them already.
